LAMO 19

LAMO image 19 has been released to the JPL Photojournal.

LAMO 19 primarily features Tupo crater, in the Kerwan quadrangle. The crater has an overall blue tinted appearance, which has been linked to the presence of ammoniated compounds. It is still unclear if these compounds have been present in Ceres requiring accretion to occur in the Kuiper Belt region or if the compounds have been deposited from Kuiper Belt Objects impacting Ceres over time.
